So today I am feeling a mixture of emotions. As my husband sets off for a missions trip to India, I feel excited, but anxious. Excited for all the great things he will do and see there. But anxious as this is the first time as husband and wife that we are separated by so many miles. I pray that a team of angels surrounds him and his teammates as they serve God. I'm very excited for them to be visiting the orphanage that they always go to. Excited for the team, but more excited for the children. I can't imagine the happiness that is going to be felt by all those kiddies and the excitement of the anticipation for the team to arrive.
I also am very much thrilled to be going home to spend a good 2 and 1/2 weeks with my awesome parents, two kitty-cats, and their rat dog. It's always so relaxing going home in the summer time. No school to think about, no responsibilities. Just some good time with the people I love and miss all year long. I really need to get packing and cleaning. And I'm a bit hungry...so until later!
